The Wildlife Hospital at PfA, Bengaluru specializes in the treatment of urban wildlife of the city. It was started in 1996, when there wasn’t any specialised hospital for treatment of wild animals in the country. Being a pioneer, PfA has relentlessly focused on the growth and improvement of the functionality of the hospital, which presently encompasses an Intensive Care Unit, X-ray facility, clinical lab, surgical unit, neonatal incubator, quarantine unit, flight test aviary, reptile and primate treatment enclosures, snake treatment boxes, peacock and water bird enclosures, a post-mortem room and an ambulance prepared to respond rescue calls 24/7.
At our wildlife hospital a team of Veterinarians, nursing staff and animal welfare officers are available at all times to treat emergency cases.
