Educational programmes for Schools and Students.
Protecting and nurturing urban ecosystems and wildlife requires the participation of people across all ages. To foster a healthy, liveable planet demands that each of us live responsibly - now and always.
Children are key to this effort of change, not only in building awareness, but also in action. Many of our rescue heroes, and advocates for wildlife and the environment - are children.
Our Educational programmes are designed to partner with Schools and Students, with fun, interactive sessions and activities.
We have sensitized close to 4,00,000
school children under the
Child Ecology program.
Our new WildOne series is a valuable primer for essential environmental awareness for children. It combines storytelling, film, games and physical activities to help children perceive their role in nurturing nature and ways to be involved in active conservation - starting with their homes and neighbourhoods.
What the series achieves:Designed for 2 age groups - Junior/Middle and High school.
A module is approx. 30-40 minutes, with some extensible up to an hour.

As an extension of our child ecology program, we conducted a summer camp for the school children which was held for over a week. The children enjoyed a nature walk, herping, bird watching, camera traps and pug marking, snake workshop and many such activities. We are keen to conduct similar camps for the children during their vacation and weekends.
PFA sessions at GIS have helped us integrate humane education through innovative engagement programs. It has raised awareness of issues impacting the environment, and the actions we can take to improve and sustain it. PFA has helped bring nature into the virtual classroom, while students were homebound.
This is just a note to congratulate you on the outstanding presentation on - 'LIVING WITH THE WILD'. Thanks for addressing the subject with openness and sensitivity. The sessions were lively, engaging, educational, and fulfilling. I believe many of us now understand the seriousness of wildlife conservation and the importance of their natural habitats.
Thank you so much for a fantastic session with our students. They were all excited and thrilled to take actions to rescue and take care of the animals. It was a pleasure attending the session. We look forward to more such collaborations in the future. Thank you again.
As a classroom teacher, implementing the PFA program has fostered a deeper understanding and appreciation for animals in our class. My students are excited and engaged during every lesson, while they learn about specific animals and how to care for them and show empathy toward them. The hands-on activities and stories have added so much more depth to our normal curriculum demands.
PFA has helped students explore positive relationships between people and animals, wild and domestic, through stories and student-led discussions. PFA volunteers conducted interesting activities that increased the level of empathy for people and animals in students.
Sessions can be hosted individually, but the full programme of 9 sessions works best.
They can be held as Webinars or in Class (conditions permitting).

The PfA Loris Club brings together like-minded children, those who enjoy wildlife, nature and environmental issues. The club, hosted specifically in the school, offers outdoor experiences, diverse interactive activities, volunteering for wildlife, development of their environmental acumen, and much more. It helps students build a key connection with nature and an opportunity to explore their interests in the wildlife arena.
The club can be managed both remotely and at the school, with days at our centre, in various nature-rich locations, museums and more
Write to us if you’d like to start the PfA Loris Club in your school.
